All Church Family Barbecue at Grecian Heights Park

May 18, 2008

All Church Family BBQ – 4:00 – 7:00 pm on May 18th at Grecian Heights Park - the Children/Youth Commission is sponsoring a fun evening in the park. Burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share. Also, bring your favorite outdoor game, frisbees, balls, etc. All are welcome to attend. Any questions, call Cheryl at the office or Tia Mittelstadt at 278-1378.

June 13 – 14, 2008

Relay for Life – You too can be a part of the effort - First Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a team at the Pendleton “Relay for Life” on June 13 – 14, 2008. The Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and supports cancer research, education, and services.

July 14-17 - 2008 Day Camp/Vacation Bible School

The dates for the 2008 Day Camp/Vacation Bible School are July 14 through July 17 at Westminster Woods. Once again we will be sponsoring the camp with First Christian Church and First United Methodist Church. The theme this year is "Beach Party: Surfin' Through the Scriptures." Many volunteers are needed. If you are interested in volunteering, please call Tia Mittelstadt at 278-1378 or the church office at 276-7681.

August 1-3 - Women's Retreat 2008

Women of the church and friends save this date. The annual women's retreat is scheduled for August 1-3, 2008 at Westminster Woods. This year we are enjoying the beauty of our brand new chapel and the nearness of the Woods Camp. More details will be shared as the date draws closer.
